Warner Pacific University ID Services
Your WPU ID card is your University ID that assists in identifying you within our community, allowing students, faculty members, and staff access to campus facilities, athletic and cultural events.
Getting Your WPU ID Card
The first step to obtaining your initial WPU ID Card is to submit your photo through the Application Portal.
WPU ID Card Services is located in the Office of Admissions, located in upper Egtvedt (Room 205). When you come in to pick-up your ID card, have your ID card printed, or to pick-up your replacement card, be sure to know your WPU ID number and bring a Government issued photo identification (this is necessary to process your request for your WPU ID card).
- Driver’s license or state-issued Identification card
- Passport
- Military ID
- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
*Your WPU ID is valid for as long as you have an active relationship with Warner Pacific University. You do not need to renew your it annually.
*An WPU ID is optional for online students; ID Cards are needed for particular building access to evening, in-person classes.
Please note: During peak on-campus events, such as, Knights Orientation, you may experience a wait time for obtaining your WPU ID card. Therefore, in order to avoid any delay with your ID card retrieval, please ensure that you upload your photo to your Application Portal.
How to Upload Your Photo
For new students, it is recommended that all initial photos for WPU ID Cards are submitted online through the application portal check list. If you are unable to submit your photo online, you may come to the Office of Admissions during the WPU ID Card Services hours to obtain an ID Card.

Photo Requirements
- Please upload your photo in JPG format
- Must be recent, and taken in front of a solid light-colored background (must be an accurate representation of what you currently look like)
- Must be an original photo, not a copy, scan, or photo of a photo, including passport photos
- Must be in full color, in focus, with adequate lighting
- Must be a frontal facing headshot, and centered (e.g. similar to a passport photo, state ID photo, or driver license photo)
- DO NOT submit a photo wearing any form of hats (unless required for religious or medical reasons), sunglasses, making funny faces (duck lips), or amusing gestures
Uploading Your Photo
- Once you have successfully taken your headshot photo, and are satisfied; log in to your Application Portal
- From the Application Portal Status page, look for “Upload Materials”
- Click on your desired photo to select image for your student WPU ID card
- Here you will click “Choose file” to select your recent photo image for uploading
- Once you have selected your image, click the “Upload” button to attach your photo to your application materials
- YOU’RE DONE!
Next Steps
- An email will be sent to your WPU email account and/or personal email account to notify you that your photo submission has been approved or denied. If your submission is denied, do not resubmit the same photo, as your request will be denied again
- Your WPU ID card may take up to 24 hours for processing. Once your ID Card has been completed, we will email you to pick-up your WPU ID card from the Office of Admissions
- You will need to bring a physical form of a government issued ID for release of your WPU ID card
Replacement ID Cards
- Come to the Office of Admissions between the hours of 11am – 1pm and 3pm – 5pm on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, and we will be available to assist you with your replacement ID card
- Please know your WPU ID number, and bring a Government issued photo identification
- There is a $15 replacement ID fee
